The Vaighai Group’s venture and a proud Make in India enterprise. A safety match chemical manufacturing company, VCIL ignited the spark that helped realise the full potential of Potassium Chlorate in a range of applications, including the manufacture of matches, fireworks, growth enhancers, smoke fumigation, bleaching agent, and disinfectants.
VCIL generates its electricity captively, thanks to two 3.6 MW Rolls Royce power plant. Vaighai enjoys a substantial market share in India, with 11 warehouses strategically located to serve safety match producers throughout Tamil Nadu.
Today, we retain a leadership position as India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of Potassium Chlorate (KClo3). Our commitment to the highest levels of product innovation remains stronger than ever.
